DHIRKOT: Jamat-e-Islami is committed for bringing reforms in the system throughout the region, said the Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Khalid Mehmood Khan here Friday. He expressed this while addressing a ceremony in Dhirkot. The party has been playing remarkable role in the ongoing Kashmir Movement, he added.
He said that the leaders of Jamat e Islami in 1947 started jehad for independence. The party is still committed and implementing the decision of ancestors, he added.
Secretary General All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Sardar Naseem Abbasi along with his companions announced to join Jamat e Islami at the occasion. Dr. Khalid Mehmood wel come Sardar Naseem Abbasi and all the other new comers in the party. He assured them that they will be given the sacred place in the party.
