PPO finalises alternative arrangements to ensure timely delivery of mail: Akhlaq Rana

r ISLAMABAD: Due to COVID – 19 the disruption in international flights on the international mail delivery system was being affected due to which the customers of Pakistan Post were facing difficulties in the delivery of international mail. In view of the unavoidable situation of COVID – 19, Pakistan Post has finalized special alternative arrangements to ensure timely delivery of mail to its customers. This was stated by Director General Pakistan Post Muhammad Akhlaq Rana while issuing a statement on Friday. The Director General of Pakistan Post further said that EMS Plus Service has been fully activated and all arrangements for timely delivery of international mail will be finalized by using alternative means of transportation so that Pakistan Post users should not have any problem. Director General Pakistan Post urged its customers to use Service Plus EMS in this regard so that our esteemed customers do not face any difficulties. In this regard, the spokesperson of Pakistan Post while talking to the media clarified that the Director General of Pakistan Post has issued instructions to all concerned authorities to implement the special orders and ensure timely delivery of posts to its customers.
