DIR: A portion from Sheringal to Patrak of the main Dir-Kumrat road on Tuesday was completely cleared to traffic to ensure smooth flow of traffic by removing debris from the road.The road was closed to traffic owing to heavy material occured at various places on the road after the area received torrential rains.
And the road was closed due to which tourists who were visiting the picturesque valley of Kumrat as well as locals had stranded in the way. However, the Sheringal administration had cleared the road partially to traffic to facilitate tourists and locals on emergency basis.
However still the vehicllers and tourists were facing difficulties due to lying material on the road. Yesterday, the Additional Assistant Commissioner, Sheringal, Muhammad Saqib Khan along with KPHA engineer and heavy machineries removed the remaining debris from the road at various places from Sheringal to Patrak. The AAC Saqib Khan said that the portion had badly effected. He said that they had cleared the road to all kind of traffic. He said that then the vehicular traffic.
