Indian efforts to suppress Kashmir Movement failed badly: Sardar Attique

Bureau Report

MUZAFFARABAD: Indian efforts to suppress the Kashmir issue by using force have failed badly, said the former PM AJK, and Leader All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan here on Wednesday. He expressed this during his meeting with the leader Muslim Conference, Rehana Khan in Muzaffarabad.

He said that the United Nations (UN) should devise a mechanism for the right to self determination of the masses of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) to save the South Asia from huge devastation. Indian effort to change the demography of IOK is very dangerous act. He strictly condemned all the efforts of Indian authorities to transform the Muslims majority into minority.

He said that Indian forces often violate the ceasefire agreement by targeting the innocent civilians living closer to the Line of Control (LoC). Kashmiris are sacrificing their lives. International community and the UN should break its silence over Kashmir issue. They should play their vital role for resolving the prolonged Kashmir issue, he further said.
