Muzaffarabad:The Prime Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has assured the people of Occupied Kashmir that entire Pakistani nation, people of Azad Jammu Kashmir and Armed Forces are with them in their just struggle and will continue their unflinching support till the achievement of inalienable right to self determination.
He was addressing a function held to pay homage to the martyrs of 13th July, 1931 here on Monday.
He warned India that Pakistan armed forces is fully prepared to defend the ideological and geographical frontiers of the country and will give a befitting response to India in wake of any aggression posed to our territorial integrity.
He said Kashmiris had linked their destiny with Pakistan and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and now it is the responsibility of the people of Pakistan intellectual and political leaders to play their role in fulfilling the pledge made by the father of the nation with Kashmiri people.
He said today we are here to pay homage to those 22 Kashmiris who had laid down their lives to overthrow the despotic Dogra rule.
Denouncing the Indian illegal attempt to change the demography of occupied Kashmir through settlement of non-state subjects in IOK and urged the people of Jammu and Ladakh to forcefully oppose the Indian move to settle non-state elements there.
He said it is a matter of great pleasure that all political forces, people and the government of Pakistan are on the same page with regard to the Kashmir Policy and day is for off when the dawn of freedom will arise in IOK.
He assured the Hurriyat leadership that the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir are with them and they are not alone in just struggle. Indian atrocities have failed to suppress the insurmountable spirit of Kashmiri people, he added.
The function was also attended by the Cabinet members, secretaries to the government, political leaders and a large number of people belonging to all walks of life.
Later special prayers were offered for the souls of Kahmsiri martyrs in general and martyrs of 13th July, 1931 in particular.
Meanwhile functions and seminars were held in all the district headquarters of the state in connection with the martyrs of 13th July. The speakers addressing on the occasion assured their unflinching support to people of occupied Kashmir in attaining their right to self determination.
