400 deserving women get food packages in Sargodha

SARGODHA: German Aid for Afghan Children distributed food packages among 400 deserving women of Christian community in Sargodha here on Thursday.

Speaking at the occasion, Country Director German Aid for Afghan Children, Engineer Alam Shahab said that the spread of coronavirus pandemic has badly affected masses. Financial problems of people have been increased to an extreme level. In such a situation the mission of German Aid for Afghan Children is to utilize all the available resources to provide maximum help to deserving families, he added.

He said that the purpose of his life to make the children Afghanistan and Pakistan able to get education. Providing them the best health facilities is also one of the top priorities. Making children strong both mentally and physically is inevitable for attaining the purpose behind the making of Pakistan, he added.

He said that German Aid for Afghan Children came into being in 1999 due to the efforts of Dr. Reinhard and his wife Annette Eros. The basic purpose of this institution is to provide education to the children of remote areas, he added.
