Neglected areas given priority in development schemes: Khaliq Wasi

DATOOT: Member Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council, Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi had said that, beyond party affiliations under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan, neglected areas and small communities have been given priority in development schemes to end the sense of deprivation. He expressed these views, while addressing a gathering at Besota Beiruta, where he was received by a large number of men and women of that area.

Speakers and people of the area thanked Prime Minister AJK, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan and Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi Member Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council for approving Beirut Road. Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi assured the gathering that, he would not disappoint the leadership and his people in the future as well.

Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi appreciated the participation of a large number of women in the program and assured them that the issues of women empowerment and youth would be given priority. Mona Yaqoob, leader of PML-N Women’s Wing, hosted the lunch, while local leaders Sardar Manzoor Khan, Sardar Pervaiz Yaqoob, retired DPI; Sardar Ghafoor, Sardar Amjad Irshad, Sardar Azad, Sardar Ateeq Irshad, Sardar Osama Babar Yaqoob and others addressed the gathering.
