Dr. Khalid demands fee waiver for students of Varsities

RAWALAKOT: Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir should give fee waiver to the students of the all the Universities, demanded the Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Khalid Mehmood Khan here on Friday. He expressed this while addressing the protest of students in Rawalakot.

He said that students are the future of the nation and country. Universities remained closed due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic. COVID-19 has increased the unemployment. Deserving students who are not in the condition to pay their fee should be given relief by waiving of their full fee. Whereas, those students who are financially sound should also be given relaxation, he added.

He said that government should also provide relief to the other departments. Private institutions are also facing difficulties in current situation. Government should also provide relief to private institutions. A Country cannot do progress without education. If students of a nation would beg be busy in sit ins then what would be the future of that nation? Government should resolve all the issues of masse as soon as possible, he further said.
