Barrister appeals overseas Kashmiris to observe black day on August 5

ISLAMABAD: August 5 is the black day of the history of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, overseas Kashmiris should observe black day on August 5 to divert the attention of the world powers towards the Kashmir issue, said the former PM AJK, President PTI AJK, and Member Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry here on Friday. He expressed this while addressing to the journalists of print media in Islamabad.

He said that Overseas Kashmiris should observe protests in the capital cities of the countries where they are living. There should be protests in London, Brussels, New York, Paris, Europe, and all the other capital cities of the countries worldwide. These protests will help in highlighting the Kashmir issue worldwide, he added.

Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that Kashmir issue is a prolonged issue. This issue should be resolved according to the resolutions of the United Nations (UN) over this issue. The masses of Kashmir should be given their right to self determination, he further said.
