ISLAMABAD: Pakistan should appeal the international community to play its decisive role in resolving the prolonged Kashmir issue, demanded the Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Abdul Rasheed Turabi here on Sunday. He expressed this while addressing to media persons in Islamabad.
He said that if the international community does not play its role for the resolution of the Kashmir issue then Pakistan should use the option of being the party to the issue. Pakistani parliamentarians should bring a joint resolution on August 5. The Prime Minister Imran Khan should address the people of Kashmir on this day. He should give straight forward message to the international community that if it would not play its role for the resolution of Kashmir issue then Pakistan will use the options which it have being the party to the Kashmir issue, he added.
Abdul Rasheed Turabi demanded that the government of Pakistan should appoint a special Vice Foreign Minister on Kashmir issue. This minister should tell the world regarding the human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) on daily basis, he further said.
