Federal govt should summon OIC session over IOK situation: Ali Raza Bukhari

MUZAFFARABAD: Federal government should summon special session of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) over the situation of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) after the Indian decision of August 5 last year, demanded the member Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and Spiritual Decedent Bisahan Sharif, Pir Ali Raza Bukhari here on Wednesday. He expressed this while addressing the session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, in Muzaffarabad. The government of Pakistan should invite the Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan to address the OIC session, he added.

Ali Raza Bukhari said that the OIC session should discuss the human rights violations being taken place in IOK. The matter of revoking the Article 370 and 35A should also be raised. The matter of Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC) should also be discussed because Indian forces are continuously targeting the innocent civilians living closer to the LoC, he further said.
