Maintaining rule of law top priority: Chief Justice

MIRPUR: Maintaining the rule of law in Azad Jammu and Kashmir is the top priority of judiciary, said the Chief Justice AJK, Raja Saeed Akram Khan here on Friday. He expressed this while presiding over a staff meeting of Supreme Court Circuit Mirpur. All the possible steps are being taken for the provision of justice to the masses, he added.

He said that all the officers and officials of judiciary should follow discipline. They should make their talks and characters exemplary for others. They should behave with people politely. There should be no hurdle on the way of provision of justice to the masses. Office timings should be followed strictly, he added.

Chief Justice said that justice has great importance in an Islamic state. Only those societies and countries do progress in the world which provide easy and fast justice to their masses. “Being the Chief Justice it is my supreme priority to maintain rule of law in the state”, he added.
