Kashmiri leadership should be taken on board while formulating strategy on Kashmir: PM AJK

MUZAFRFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has called for taking the Kashmiri leadership on board while formulating the strategy on Kashmir.

He was addressing the AJK legislative Assembly in Muzaffarabad, on “Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir” to mark the completion of one year of Indian military siege in Illegal Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday.

He demanded the UN to end the illegal military siege imposed by the Indian government in occupied Kashmir. He rejected the illegal and immoral action of 5th august last year imposed by the Indian government to abrogate articles of 370 and 35 A to forcefully change the demography of occupied Kashmir.

India is bent upon to change the demography of the state in pretext of imposing constitutional amendments to fulfill its nefarious goals, “he added”.

He strongly appreciated the visits of the political leadership of Pakistan to the line of control and termed it a great source of inspiration for the people of occupied Kashmir who have been facing immense difficulties and communication lockdown for the last one year.

The PM said our commitment with Pakistan is based on ideology and it is our responsibility to apprise the younger generation about the genesis of Kashmir liberation movement.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan,  SardarAttique Ahmed Khan, Barrister Sultan Mehamood Choudhary, SardarHassan Ibrahim and Abdul RasheedTurabi also addressed the session.
