Shan, Asad hold key as Anderson removes Babar

Manchester: Opening batsman Shan Masood has reached to his seventh Test fifty after English pacer James Anderson removed Babar Azam in the first over of day 2 of Manchester Test.

Shan brought his fifty in 156 balls, which included seven fours. Babar failed to add to his overnight score of 69. Asad Shafiq has joined Shan in the middle. Pakistan is 149/3.

Pakistan started the day on 139/2. Only 49 overs were bowled as the day was mostly interrupted due to rain.
