MUZAFFARABAD: 13 more cases of coronavirus reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, said the Spokesperson AJK government and AJK Minister for IT, Dr. Mustafa Bashir here on Saturday. He expressed this while addressing to the media persons in Muzaffarabad. 09 new cases are from Muzaffarabad, 03 from Bagh, and 01 from Rawalakot, Mustafa Bashir added. He said that coronavirus testing capacity has been increased in AJK. 250 tests are being conducted on daily basis. A meeting has held with the representatives of transporters for finding the way to open public transport. Transporters have given their suggestions which would be discussed in cabinet. The government of AJK has declared mask mandatory and has decided to take strict action against the violators. Policy of federal government for opening the hotels and restaurants will be reviewed to take decision in AJK in this regard. The Prime Minister has summon cabinet’s session on June 03, he added. He said that coronavirus affectees are getting free medicines. Rapid sampling has been started in AJK under which tests are being taken in bazaars and other places, he added.
