Coronavirus: 01 more dies, 15 tested positive in AJK

MUZAFFARABAD: Coronavirus pandemic claimed one more life in Azad Jammu and Kashmir whereas 15 more tested positive for coronavirus on Monday. According to a press release of the health department one who died of coronavirus was hailing from Poonch. 14 of new positive cases are from Poonch whereas one is from Bhimber. Total 30624 tests of coronavirus suspects have been conducted in the state so far. There are 2199 confirmed cases of coronavirus in AJK. 2022 affectees have been recovered and discharged whereas others are still receiving the treatment. Coronavirus pandemic has claimed 61 lives in AJK. 58 quarantine centers are currently functioning in the state. Doctors and health staff are continuously playing their role against coronavirus. All the essential steps are being taken for controlling the spread of coronavirus pandemic, the PR added.
