CPNE announces for 2 days protest convention against govt’s media policy

ISLAMABAD: Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors (CPNE) announced for 2 days protest convention against the anti media policies of the government here on other day. The protest convention will be held in Islamabad after 20 Jun. The decision taken during a high level session of CPNE held in Islamabad. According to detail, a special session of CPNE held in Islamabad in which the issues being faced by the regional newspapers discussed. Speaking at the occasion, Khushnood Ali Khan said that main stream media is firmly standing with the regional newspapers. It will firmly stand with regional newspapers till the day they get justice, he added. President All Kashmir Newspapers Society (AKNS), Zahid Tabassum, Amjid Chaudhry, Ijaz Abbasi, Khawaja Mateen and others attended the session.
