Abid Hussain Abid meets PM AJK, discuses development in Poonch

Mirpur: Former Information Minister AJK, Sardar Abid Hussain Abid, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq. The meeting encompassed a detailed exchange of views regarding the potential visit of the Prime Minister to the Poonch district. Discussions revolved around various aspects including mega projects, district headquarters hospital in Chak, medical staff strikes, and road maintenance.
During the meeting, Sardar Abid Hussain Abid briefed Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq about the issues prevailing in the Poonch district. In response, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq assured prompt actions concerning the resolution of longstanding issues in Poonch, road infrastructure improvements, and timely completion of mega projects.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Abid Hussain Abid emphasized that addressing the problems of Poonch district is among their priorities and they will warmly welcome the Prime Minister’s visit to Poonch. He stated that the timely completion of public welfare projects and the government’s commitment to public development initiatives are commendable.
Furthermore, he briefed Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq about other ongoing issues concerning the public and expressed optimism that the timely completion of mega projects for public welfare in Poonch would lead to the region’s development and progress.
