MUZAFFARABAD: National spirit is needed for competing with the current challenge caused by the spread of coronavirus pandemic, the role of every individual is very important in this regard, said the former PM AJK and Leader All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan here on Sunday. He expressed this while addressing a ceremony in Muzaffarabad.
He said that whole world is competing with the coronavirus in the current time. But, worst violations of human rights in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) are still continued. The need of the hour is that concrete steps should be taken for the resolution of prolonged Kashmir issue. Indian authorities have put the leaders of IOK into jails. Due to coronavirus pandemic all the jailed leaders and other Kashmiris are standing at the verge of death. They are in miserable conditions. The United Nations (UN) should take prompt notice of human rights violations being taken place in the held valley, he further said.
