Karachi: Emerging pacer Naseem Shah has termed Duke ball as “Friendly” and his enjoying bowling with it as compared to the Kookaburra used in Pakistan.
While talking to Mohammad Abbas on the sidelines of Pakistan’s inter-squad scenario-based practice match in Worcester, Naseem said that it was good to be back after three months.
“Conditions are suited for Duke ball and gradually I am getting an idea about how to bowl here in England,” he said.
“Duke bowl is bowler friendly and at times, the ball does what you say. Kookaburra is hard to shine and doesn’t give that much of swing and seam,” he added.
On the other hand, Abbas guided Naseem on how to bowl with the Duke ball as he has played county cricket before in England.
It must be noted here that Pakistan is scheduled to play three Tests and as many T20Is against England in August and September.
