Assistant Commissioner Sardar Abdul Qadir along with DSP, SHO Police Station City and Thothal conducted a grand operation against professional beggars in the limits of both Police Stations and arrested 72 persons.
The professional beggars were then taken in a Government College bus to drive them to the district.

Assistant Commissioner Sardar Abdul Qadir told the shopkeepers and citizens to encourage the local people who are entitled to zakat and discourage the professional beggars who came from different areas for begging.
Assistant Commissioner Sardar Abdul Qadir also thanked the Director Colleges and the Principal Government College Mirpur for providing transport to shift the beggars out from the district.
