‘’Genius personality of the time’’ Syed Habib Hussain Shah Advocate (Late)

He was born on November 11, 1952 in Pothi Makwalan. He passed the primary and middle standard examination from the Govt. Boys High School Pothi Makwalan. He had also been studying at Government High School Mohri Farman Shah during the winter holidays. He passed his matriculation examination from Sabir Shaheed Boys Pilot High School, Rawalakot. He did his F.A from Captain Hussain Khan Shaheed Degree College, Rawalakot. He got degree of B.A from Punjab University Lahore. He obtained degree of L.L.B from Karachi University. He also did business abroad for some time in Muscat. After doing LL.B he started practice in Rawalakot. Due to his professional dedication, he made a name for himself in the legal community. He started participating in politics from his student life. He Participated fully in speeches and debates in college. He remained the general secretary of the student union in Captain Hussain Khan Shaheed Degree College, Rawalakot. In the presidential election of 1970 he campaigned in favour of Ghazi –E- Millat Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan throughout Azad Kashmir. He played a significant role in the movement for the right to vote on the basis of adult suffrage in Azad Kashmir. Sardar Muhammad Abdul Qayyum Khan was elected President of Azad Kashmir. In 1973, Sardar Muhammad Abdul Qayyum Khan visited Mohri Farman Shah as the President of the state. Syed Habib Hussain Shah Sahib performed the duties of stage secretary. At that time.
Although he was in Pakistan People’s Party A.K. He was one of the founders of Pakistan People’s Party Azad Kashmir. He also contested the MLA election on the ticket of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s political party Pakistan Awami Tehreek. Twice he contested district council elections. Thus he played a dynamic and active role in the politics of Azad Kashmir. He worked day and night in the construction and development of his area. He took the land from Ashraf Kayani and started the construction of the road from Pakgali to Kayat Kalan . Which could not be completed due to sum local hurdles, Later he played an important role in the construction of Jirri to Kayat Kalan Road . He had also been the General Secretary and Senior Vice President of Tanzeem –ul- Sadat Azad Kashmir. His study was very extensive, especially on international affairs. He was a senior Lawyer of Supreme Court. He wrote a book on law, Rehnamay Zammnat, which was well received in legal circles. He was a competent jurist, writer, poet, author, and was described as a fiery speaker as well as a person of eloquence. He had a fearless, personality. The vacuum created by his death will not be filled for a long time. He had been ill for a long time. He finally died on January 11, 2020. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. His body was brought from Islamabad to Rawalakot. His funeral prayers was offered at Sabir Shaheed Stadium by his elder brother Prof. Syed Maqsood Hussain Rahi. Participants paid tribute to all his services in the condolence reference, which was attended by a large number of people from all walks of life. Later, his dead body was brought to his native village Kayat Kalan (Raqba Chiran Syedan). Funeral prayer was offered in the village by Maulana Imtiaz Siddiquee. A large number of people attended the funeral prayer there. Funeral prayers was offered in Rawalpindi by his real nephew Maulana Syed Tariq Hussain Shah. He was buried in his ancestral graveyard. At the time of burial, every eye was full of tears. May Allah Almighty rest his soul in peace.
