After the restoration of peace in the former FATA, the government of Pakistan announced a special development package for these new merged districts and started development works in a very short period of time. The scope of various projects including roads, schools, hospitals and clean drinking water is being extended to remote areas. In this regard, the Government and Security Forces are trying to complete development projects in tribal districts of Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber in a timely manner. Work on various projects is continue to provide basic health facilities in these districts. Not only are the existing hospitals and dispensaries in different areas being repaired, but new basic health centers are also being established. Along with this, in remote areas where health facilities are lacking, men, women and children suffering from various diseases are being cared for through free medical camps. Till now thousands of people have not only been checked up by the Frontier Corps North in the remote areas of Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber through the free medical camps, but awareness is also being provided regarding severe diseases. Apart from this, hundreds of people suffering from major diseases are being given free treatment in different hospitals. Now a large number of tribal districts are benefiting from basic health facilities. Recently, in view of the threat of seasonal diseases due to heavy rains, Frontier Corps North is still conducting a large number of free medical camps in remote areas of Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber. The tribal areas of the past are now becoming self-sufficient. With the efforts of the Security Forces, these areas are now becoming the hallmark of Pakistan. The time is not far when these districts will also play an important role in the development of Pakistan.
