Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Labour, Excise and Narcotics Control Haji Manzoor Khan Afridi visited the offices of the Labour Department in Saidu Sharif during his visit to Swat as well as reviewed and discussed the performance of the department with the officers there.He expressed satisfaction that all the district labour offices in Malakand division including Swat are promptly disposing off cases related to workers and laborers community while currently there are no pending cases of laborers left in Saidu Sharif Labor Courts.
Haji Manzoor Afridi strictly instructed the labour authorities to address the problems and difficulties of the workers on priority basis and to always treat them politely. He said that apart from increasing employment opportunities, the provincial government is trying to improve the quality of life of workers and to provide quality education and health facilities to their children, in which the role and cooperation of labour officers is equally important.
Earlier, the Labour and Excise Minister Haji Manzoor Khan Afridi heard the problems of the local people in Saidu Sharif and issued orders to the relevant authorities on most of their applications on the spot, while assured them that their other grievances would be resolved at an appropriate level.
