Mirpur: Government Minister Azad Kashmir, Chaudhary Qasim Majid, has said that government officials and employees should adhere to office discipline. He emphasized that on the vision Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq’s vision of good governance and efficiency should be implemented to achieve a definite percentage increase in revenue.
Government minister stresses on the strict measures to address low voltage and unannounced load shedding of electricity and Department of Education should improve the quality of education in government schools and colleges to restore public trust in these educational institutions. The Department of Public Works should assess the damages caused by recent rains and ensure the rehabilitation of affected roads. All development projects should be completed within the allocated budget, and there should be no compromise on the quality and utilization of government resources.
He urged the government officials and employees to fulfil their responsibilities in line with the priorities of the Azad Kashmir government, and their dignity and self-esteem will be upheld. Chaudhry Qasim Majid made these statements while presiding over a meeting of various departmental officers in his constituency of Chakswari. Officers from the Departments of Electricity, Physical Planning, Education, and Public Works were also present.
The Minister emphasized that these officers hold a crucial role in the development and progress of the state. They should execute the responsibilities entrusted to them by the government with hard work, honesty, dedication, and a commitment to serving the people, which will lead to their recognition and respect by the government. Negligence and negligence of duties will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He also mentioned that Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq has given instructions to align state machinery with the law and regulations, ensuring proper and transparent utilization of government resources for public welfare projects amidst the ongoing economic crisis. Each department in Chakswari constituency should strive to make both development and non-development projects exemplary and outstanding, with priority-based solutions for the issues faced by the people.
