Our Planet, Our Health

107

Health is the most fundamental human right and one of the most main indicators of development. Humans depend on healthy ecosystems to aid healthy communities and societies. Well- functioning biodiversity provide goods and amenity that is essential for human health. In 1948, the World Health Organization held the First World Health Assembly. That Assembly decided to celebrate 7 April of yearly, with consequence from 1950, as the World Health Day. It is a global health awareness day and each year on this day a theme is chosen that highlights an area of priority concern for world Health Organization. Our governmental, community-based and private enterprise decisions are navigate the climate change and health crisis. Above 90 percent of humans respire unhealthy air resulting from burning of fossil fuels. Small insects like mosquitos spread diseases farther and faster than ever before. Extreme weather crisis, land degradation and water scarcity are displacing people and affecting their health. Pollution and plastics are found at the bottom of our deepest oceans, the highest mountains, and have made their way into our food chain. Systems that produce highly processed, unhealthy foods are driving a wave of obesity, increasing cancer and cardiovascular disease, respiratory diseases, fatty liver while also generating a third of global greenhouse gas emissions. Ostensibly, on World Health Day 2022, WHO will focus global attention on urgent actions needed to keep humans and the planet healthy and encourage a movement to create societies focused on well-being. World Health Organization approximate that more than 13 million deaths around the globe each year are due to environmental causes. This includes that climate crises is the main environmental health crisis and that threaten the lives of many humans. World Health Organization hankering hasten action to protect human health and combat the climate change crisis at a time of heightened dispute and frailty. Promoting health is very essential. Health can be promoted primarily on three levels, primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. Primary prevention helps to prevent disease before its occurrence. This is though educating people that aims and seek to prevent the onset of diseases through healthy living. Secondary prevention aims to stop or slow the disease progression and prevent complications that have already occurred. Tertiary prevention focused on reducing an ongoing illness and injury that has lasting effects This is by educating and helping people to manage their long-term, often-complex health problems and illness(e.g. chronic diseases, disabilities) in order to improve as much as possible their ability to function, their quality of life and their life expectancy. Although the theme Our Planet, Our Health would be a dynamic reminder to all the people of the globe. Resolution of mostly of the issues are beyond the absolute horizon of the health care sector. An essential response will be taken by the government and the societies and communities as a whole. A well-being economy has human well-being, valuation and ecological sustainability as its aims. These objectives are translated into prolonged investments; Health related budgets, social protection and legalized strategies. Breaking this rhythm of destruction for the planet and human health requires juridical action, corporate reform and individuals to be supported and highly motivate to make healthy options.
