Mirpur: The Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Qasim Majid, has said that that the PM AJK has formed a committee to resolve the longstanding issues of teachers in accordance with the law.
While talking to the delegation of teachers, he said that the government of Azad Kashmir has no intentions of undermining the dignity of teachers, which is being wrongly portrayed in the news circulating on social media. The teachers should present their issues and all matters to the committee.
He said that the previous officials of the teachers’ organizations, for their demands, adopted wrong methods that went against the principles of the teachers’ sanctity.
The lessons taught by the teachers are the foundation of the nation, and it is the responsibility of the government to honor and them.
The minister said The sacred profession of teaching should not be tarnished by baseless conflict between the teachers and the government. The negative consequences and effects of such conflicts are also being borne by our new generation.
He said that teachers are associated with the noble and respected profession. The role of the teachers should be served as role models for others. The teachers’ organizations should not be used for political purposes.
The minister said that the AJK government, for the first time in history has made bold decisions for the supremacy of law and constitution, institutional discipline, and good governance, which has made him a target of criticism.
He said that the revolutionary steps and reforms that the government is taking will have positive and long-lasting effects on the entire state.
