Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has said that the credit of winning local body elections goes to party Tehreek-e-Insaf, and PTI chairman Imran Khan for his vision of transferring power to grass root level so that people will get direct benefits from the government.
PM AJK Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan congratulates the elected Mayors, Deputy Mayors, chairman and vice-chairman of local body elections and he hopes that they will use all their ability and resources to fulfil the wishes of the people.
He said that The credit of local body elections goes to the PTI government who gave opportunity to young leadership and conducted local body elections after 31 years in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The young face was given chances as people like young leaders who desire for change and win for PTI was also due to the chance given to young leaders. He said that now all the responsibility is on the shoulders of the elected representatives to fulfil the expectations of the people day and night. And they will be given special gowns which will become their identity. He said that along with this they will also be given powers so that they can solve the problems of the people’, he further said
He promised that the local body government will be given powers so that they can solve the problems of the people.
