PESHAWAR: Pukaar organization organizes daily Iftar on roadside near around 200 poor people on daily basis near Gulbahar Anam Sanam Chowk Peshawar
The citizens are often travelers and laborers who are away from home due to work and they can’t reach home for Iftar.
The CEO Pukar organization Manzar Abbas said that “Everyday we arrange iftar for travellers and labourers,, usually we prepare Sharbat, dates with fruits and few fried items along with curry is also served.
Spokesperson Pukar organisation Noor ul Huda said that “The Iftar is being organized with the support of Kar-e-Khair Organization and all our members volunteer not only to prepare Iftar for themselves but for others also.
“We are avoiding disposable utensils which may spread garbage on the roadside, we use Washable utensils so that the money can be saved which may be used to feed more people, ” she further added.
