TEVTA AJK to take action against non-registered institutes

Muzaffarabad: The Chairman Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) AJK Razaq Ahmed has said that strict action would be taken against non-registered training institutes working in the state.

He was chairing a meeting in which the annual report of TEVTA was reviewed . He instructed the meeting to make necessary arrangements for the registration of non-registered technical training institutes.

He said that the newly established Vocational Training Institute(VTI) at Haveli would be operationalized soon with the cooperation of all stakeholders and civil society .

“Reforms would be brought in TEVTA AJK to transform the youth of the state into a highly skilled workforce. In this connection, we would take advantage of the experiences of TEVTA Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ”, he added.

He said that the subordinate institutes of TEVTA would set a stall to exhibit their products in the upcoming sports gala at the capital city, for which the orders had been conveyed to Principal VTI Muzaffarabad.

The head of the authority said that TEVTA would get help from Pakistan to introduce the culture and handicraft throughout the world.

He said that TEVTA would install billboards at Muzaffarabad city and Kohala Road for the advertisement of its projects.
