Mardan: A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony was held at the New Campus of Women University Mardan on October 9, 2025. The event began with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by an address by Prof. Dr. Jamil, Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, who attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor of Women University Mardan, welcomed the distinguished guests and participants. She highlighted that the university is steadily moving towards academic excellence and institutional development. She emphasized that signing these MOUs will not only create new opportunities for research and faculty exchange but will also provide students with practical exposure, skill development, and innovative learning platforms.
She further stated that Women University Mardan aims to strengthen its ties with national institutions to promote collaborative research, capacity building, and community engagement. Dr. Razia expressed her gratitude to all partner institutions for their support and shared vision for empowering women through education.
During the ceremony, 25 MOUs were signed between Women University Mardan and various prestigious institutions, including UET Bannu, Bacha Khan Medical College, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar, Women University Swabi, CECOS University Peshawar, Islamia College University Peshawar, University of Peshawar, University of Swabi, Al Syed Medical Center, Zama Clinic, Zia Darman Hospital, Al Khidmat Mashal Medical Complex Mardan, KPITB, Directorate of Sports Mardan, BISE Mardan, Hayat Foundation, Youth Alliance for Peace Development, Nexus School of Language and Education, Mardan Hunar Kanda Institute for Skill and Technology for Women, International Institute for Regional and International Studies, Alhamra Banquets Mardan, The Noor Jehan Scholarship Fund, Bank of Khyber, and Astellas Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd.
The signing of these agreements marks a significant step towards strengthening academic linkages and expanding opportunities for students, faculty, and the wider community.
