Analogy between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton

Since becoming a member of Britain’s most illustrious family, the Princess of Wales has distinguished herself as a role model royal, making composed public appearances and eschewing the scathing criticism leveled at her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

As his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II withdrew from the public eye, Catherine, who wed the now-heir to the kingdom Prince William in 2011, increased appearances.
In contrast to Meghan, Kate hasn’t said much about her experiences becoming a member of the royal family since she wed Prince Harry in 2018.
In March 2020, Harry and Meghan made headlines by quitting their official royal duties and relocating to the United States. After moving, they opened up about life in the palace.
A former television actress from the United States named Meghan described being harassed by the tabloid press in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
Following William as the next in line to the throne, Kate gave birth to Prince George in 2013, Princess Charlotte in 2015, and Prince Louis in 2018.
She has discussed her troubles with severe morning sickness, calling herself “not the happiest of pregnant ladies” in a podcast.
At occasions, Prince Harry frequently appeared in photos with his brother and Kate, appearing to enjoy their company and feel at ease.
The couples seemed to get along when Meghan arrived, which led to expectations that the foursome would become the modern monarchy.
However, immediately after Meghan and Harry’s lavish 2018 nuptials at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, rumors of a rift started to surface.
In November of that same year, The Sun alleged that Meghan had caused Kate to cry during Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting.
Meghan claimed the reverse was true in her shocking Oprah appearance, although Kate had sent her flowers and apologized.
But she criticized Buckingham Palace for never retracting the report.
Harry is aware of the criticism that the harsh tabloids in Britain are criticizing the mixed-race Meghan in a manner that Kate has not.
Harry said that a “boundary had been crossed” in November 2016, shortly after their relationship became well-known, and he accused comment pieces of having “racist undertones.”
Much was made of the disparate treatment given to the two women following the couple’s accusation of royal racism.
Despite this, Kate has drawn criticism from feminist commenters for seeming immaculate even hours after giving birth.
Undoubtedly, it was a good thing that she did not cover off her postpartum bulge.
However, Keira Knightley, a British actress, claimed that Kate’s well-groomed appearance put pressure on women to “look pretty” and “cover our anguish.”
Kate has even been compared to a “shop-window mannequin with no individuality of her own,” according to author Hilary Mantel.

However, while discussing some topics, particularly child development and early impacts, Kate comes out as enthusiastic. (Reuters/Web Desk)
