Muzaffarabad: The graduation ceremony was organized by the Kashmir Institute of Management for officers who completed the sixth Professional, Planning, and Management Course took place under the chairmanship of Speaker of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Chaudhry Latif Akbar, on Friday here in Muzaffarabad.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Director General of Kashmir Institute of Management, Brigadier (R) Syed Akhter Hussain Shah, Senior Directing Staff Brigadier Muhammad Irfan, Managing Director Small Industries, Aamir Mahmood, Director Public Relations Raja Shahid Khokhar, and other government officials.
The legislative assembly speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar congratulated the graduating officers and expressed hope that they would serve the people of Azad Kashmir with public service, dedication, and integrity. He emphasized that progress cannot be achieved without determination and commitment. Freedom is a great blessing, and it can be preserved by passion and commitment.
He further said that the elected representatives and officers should prioritize public service. The focus should be on facilitating people and not on high salaries, as progress can be sustained through a commitment to serving the people.
He also acknowledged the services of the Kashmir Institute of Management while highlighting its role in providing officers with professional and standardized training.
The Director General of Kashmir Institute of Management presented a shield to the chief guest, Speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar, and certificates were distributed among the graduating officers. Brigadier (R) Syed Akhter Hussain Shah stressed the importance of learning from global trends and increasing women’s representation in civil services.
