Every year on 8th March a women day, is celebrated worldwide. The women day celebration is carried with a theme required for the society to develop and grow with in its frame work. The celebration of women day, in different parts of the world recognizes its importance and the way to go forward. The first international women day was celebrated by the united nation organization in 1975.It does not mean that before the celebration of women day by united nation the world had never felt its importance. Actually during the year of 1910, a woman Clara Zetkin tabled the idea in Cophengen to recognize the rights of women worldwide. The purple color was selected to denote justice, dignity and protection for women. In most cases women could be found tortured, isolated, pressurized and dejected. Having a larger part in world population (like more than 54%) they should get their due rights and protection. A critic once said, that a man is born through a woman, raised by women, marry with women but I am speculated why men exploit the women so harshly) The women rights in our society are highly challengeable. On this day, most of the countries organized seminar, procession, rallies to high light the women issues and found sustainable solution in the background of Sustainable Development Goals(SGS). The day is celebrated in the perspectives of women empowerment particularly, in the Social, moral, economic and Cultural background. The 2023, theme for International Women’s Day Is (DigitALL). This time the world forum focuses on how to develop women’s capacity and give them access to face the future challenges in the current scenario of Digital world. The slogan is actually, for equity and equality, of women participation and emancipation in the political, social economic condition in life. The world has changed totally, with digitalization and globalization and only, those can survive on the planet who possess the skills. Today the women’s need to be part of the Digital world while using the technological approaches and innovations. The United Nation Organization has observed that only 37% of women’s do not use internet. Today, 259 Million fewer women’s have access to the internet than men, even though they account for nearly, half of the world’s population. Women constitutes major part of the world population in both the developed and developing countries. From the prehistory period to the advanced level women had used as a tool for extending relations, binding friendship and making them as scapegoat for personal gains. Harassment of women at workplaces, offices, on roads at paly grounds and parks can be seen as part of conspiracy against women’s to disgrace them. The reality is without woman there is no possibility to exist on earth. The acrimony of word woman indicates its importance like as wonderful mother, outstanding friend, marvelous daughter, adorable sister and nicest gift to men from God. No doubt without women the world could be torment to live. The social, economic, political plight of women is not satisfactory, nor sustainable. The violence against women has increased 17 % in the last few years. The situation is worst worldwide even it is uglier in Advanced and developed countries. just imagine in the country like USA violence against women has 36%, in Asia it has a ratio of 40%, in the continent of America it is 36%. In the richest and developed countries it has a ratio of 36%. If we want to see the world a peaceful and prosperous place we must realize that it could not be possible without women participation, dignity and respect.
