Queen Elizabeth II, who had ruled Britain for seven decades, died on Thursday at the age of 96, ending her record-breaking reign. Celebrities from Pakistan are also paying respect to the queen along with mourners from all across the world.
Charles, her 73-year-old son, is currently the monarch of 14 nations including Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, as well as the United Kingdom.
“Deepest condolences to the Royal Family on the death of our beloved Queen, who embodied all the most important & increasingly rare qualities in public life like duty, decency, discipline, dignity, commitment, constancy,” wrote Jemima Khan, a filmmaker and the ex-wife of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. No one merits death more.
