In an effort to enhance openness in the relief and recovery activities in flood-affected areas, the government inaugurated the “Digital Flood Dashboard” of the National Flood Response Coordination Center (NFRCC) on Monday.
Speaking during the ceremony, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal stated that the launch of this portal was made possible by special instructions from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He said that information about the distribution of flood relief aid and funding collected from domestic and international sources will be available to the general public as well as development partners.

Only once the water has completely subsided from every area of the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan will the damage estimates be final, he continued.
Iqbal urged the populace to assist flood victims and recalled how bravely the country has responded to disasters in the past.
He expressed his belief that it will handle the present one in the same manner.
