The Babar Azam-led national team has started up practises again, confident that it can recover from previous setbacks and make a comeback at the ICC T20 World Cup taking place in Dubai.
After losing in a tense battle against India in the major event’s opening match, Pakistan was dealt a humbling loss by Zimbabwe, who made tournament history by defeating the Men in Green for the first time ever.
Pakistan’s chances of advancing to the semifinals in the T20 World Cup 2022 are bleak because the team has lost all four of its remaining matches and has zero points in the standings this season.

Pakistan is resolved to do well in the upcoming matches, putting all of their regret and disappointment from recent setbacks behind them. During the fielding and bowling drills at WACA Cricket Ground, the players displayed positive body language and intent.
Shaun Tait, Pakistan’s bowling coach, oversaw the bowlers’ practise with a fresh ball as Babar Azam, the team’s captain, and Asif Ali, a batter, practised playing a bouncer with a marble slab on the field.

Babar received advice on proper footwork when batting from wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who is now ranked as the best T20 batter by the ICC.
