Faisal Vawda loses his party affiliation with PTI.

Faisal Vawda’s basic party membership was revoked by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday, days after a contentious press conference that was denounced by the party leadership.
The party leadership criticised the news conference on Wednesday and issued a show-cause notice as a result of his comments that the party’s march to Islamabad will be “bloody.”
Vawda was fired after failing to “reply to the notice within the stipulated period” that was given to him to clarify his position, according to a letter that was today published by PTI’s official Twitter account.
Vawda has not yet made a public statement about the situation.
His party membership was suspended after his press conference that same day, which was filled with statements believed to be “against party policies and procedures,” and he was given a show-cause notice.
In his media talk, he claimed that the establishment had “no role in his [Arshad Sharif’s] killing” and that Sharif had no threats while staying in Pakistan.
He had also stated that PTI’s long march will be a “bloody” one with “deaths and funerals” of innocent people due to a “conspiracy”.
His allegations were met with great disapproval from PTI leaders, including PTI Sindh President Ali Haider Zaidi who tweeted that “Vawda tried to damage our long march”.
In a tweet, PTI leader Asad Umar added that Vawda’s “statement does not represent party policy and beliefs.”
In a tweet posted yesterday, Vawda claimed that he had “kept trying to make Khan sahab understand, explained to him and emphasised that two confidants, three snakes, and a few maggots are taking his political hard work of 26 years on some other path; that caused the country harm, benefitted the PDM, and resulted in confrontation with institutions.”
“A compromise was very almost reached. Will shortly disclose their names,” he added.
