The Disturbance of environment is the deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources such as air, water and soil i.e the destruction of ecosystems and the extinction of wildlife, means any negative change in the characteristics of the environment and includes, among others, pollution, desertification, erosion and deforestation.
Environmental problems and disturbance of environment is becoming an increasingly ominous threat to the well-being of Pakistan’s population, and excessive population growth is the primary cause of environmental deterioration. Population growth increases the need to produce consumer products and this need, in turn, intensifies the trend to over-exploit and misuse environmental resources. While more people consuming energy, mostly from the burning of fossil fuels, is warming the planet, the key issue isn’t the number of people as much as how a small fraction of those people are causing way more than their share of carbon pollution, several climate and population experts told The Associated Press.
The environment provides us with basic needs essential for survival. Humans play an integral role in the ecosystem and are guilty of harming the planet. Our activities affect not only the environment but also the organism that exists with us.
The rate of population is increasing at a tremendous rate. Population explosion is a serious issue in developing countries. The mortality rate is decreasing due to developed health care, but the resources remain constant. As a result, competition occurs. A large number of forests are burnt down to provide shelter. Non-renewable resources are overused. As a result, famines and natural calamities occur. Population pressure on cities leads to air, water, noise and other environmental pollution as well as decrease in housing facilities and in green vegetation. Problems resulting from population pressures on industrial development include industrial and environmental pollution and unemployment.
*Solutions For control of environmental Issues *
Many other solutions for that problems but all problems are related to overpopulation
1-According to Islamic point of veiw ,if u can’t facilitate your children or can’t give them their basic rights you haven’t need to born new childrens as they are becomig harmful for environment
2-The Quran does not prohibit birth control, nor does it forbid a husband or wife to space preg- nancies or limit their number. Thus, the great majority of Islamic jurists believe that family plan- ning is permissible in Islam.
3-Basic family planning i.e. deliberate planning to have a certain number of children at certain times is per se not against Islam. It’s analogy is similar to choosing your career even though Allah bestows rizq. It is best to have few well educated and trained children with tarbiyyah than many uneducated ones in poverty. The demands of the times have changed. It is a new age and not one where many children were needed to ensure survival of the family name etc.
Hazrat Ali (alayh salam) said: “Do not raise your children the way (your) parents raised you, they were born for a different time…. “.
Now doing actual population control at a governmental level is again not against Islam as long as it does not involve abortion or loss of life once formed.In an overpopulated environment, the numbers of people might be more than the available essential materials for survival such as transport, water, shelter, food or social amenities. This regularly contributes to environmental deterioration, worsening in the quality of life, or even the disintegration of the population.
