Muzaffarabad: The Secretary Information Azad Jammu and Kashmir Ansar Yaqoob Khan has said that the payments of dues to newspapers for advertisements should be ensured before the end of the current financial year.
He was chairing the departmental review meeting in his office on Thursday. The meeting reviewed the progress of payment due to the newspaper on account of advertisements. The Secretary issued the directives to expedite the process of making payment of outstanding dues to the newspaper
Assistant Director Advertisements Syed Asif Hussain Naqvi briefed the meeting regarding the progress of payment of dues for advertisements, He briefed the Secretary Information on the progress of the ongoing development projects of the Information Ministry AJK.
During the discussion, Secretary Information Anser Yaqub Khan said that the relevant departments should be urged to achieve their designated objectives before the end of the fiscal year. The development projects should be completed transparently, with no compromise on quality. The tendering process should be completed while fulfilling all legal requirements. No tendering process should be conducted without adhering to the proper procedures.
The meeting was attended by Director General Information Raja Azhar Iqbal, Director Information Raja Amjad Hussain Minhas, Assistant Director Advertisements Syed Asif Hussain Naqvi, Information Officer Muzaffarabad Raja Sahil Khan, Section Officer Information Syed Aftab Hussain Jafri, Program Officer Shoaib Anjam Aziz, and Information Incharge Raja Bilal Ahmed.
