Hajira: Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Azad Jammu and Kashmir is irking the deserving people especially women in AJK.
The BISP AJK is using delaying tactic as they call the deserving women from far flung areas through SMS, but when they come to receive the payment after spending lot of money on transport fare, the people, who are at helm of affairs in BISP tell them that the payment is not available.
They ask the women and children to come again on some other day without realizing their problems that they had reached them with great deal of difficulty, after travelling long way in this severe hot weather.
The people told the media that they also insult the deserving people and their rude behavior expressed the that they are giving money from their own pocket instead of public money
Moreover, many of the deserving people are not getting monthly stipend, despite they got registration with BISP.
They asked Prime Minister AJK to intervene the matter and take action on the attitude of BISP’s officers and make arrangements that the payment should be made at their concerned union council level.
