Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has said that government of AJK would provide full support to universities for improving the quality of education.
He was talking to the Vice-Chancellor of Women’s University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Bagh, Professor Dr. Abdul Hameed, at Kashmir House here.
He said that no nation can excel without education. He assured the VC that his personal cooperation would always be there in removing any obstacles to run the university’s affairs smoothly “By enhancing the quality of education, we can become part of the ranks of developed and prosperous nations in the world”, he added.
During the meeting, the VC, Dr Abdul Hameed apprised the President AJK about the ongoing development projects, facilities being provided to students, problems faced by the faculty member, educational and co-curricular activities of the university.
During the meeting, Dr. Abdul Hameed, provided a detailed briefing to President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, who is also Chancellor of all the state run universities of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, regarding various university matters.
VC invited President to visit the Women’s University, Bagh to lay the foundation stone for new projects in the university.
