Sindh Police inaugurates building in honor of late DIG Manzoor Ahmed Mughal

Karachi: Inspector General of Police Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon, inaugurated a building named after former DIG (Late) Manzoor Ahmed Mughal. The building has been established at the DIG Crime & Investigation Office.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice (R) Anwar Zaheer Jamali, former Governor Sindh Lieutenant General (R) Moinuddin Haider, Additional IGs Karachi, Operations and Special Branch, Secretary Information Mr Nadeem ur Rehman Memon, DIGs, SSPs, senior government officials, family members, relatives and friends of the late DIG.

Addressing the ceremony, former Governor Sindh Lieutenant General (R) Moinuddin Haider, Additional IGs, and the son of late DIG Manzoor Ahmed Mughal highlighted his life, professional services and remarkable achievements, and paid rich tributes to him.

Speaking on the occasion, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that Manzoor Mughal was like an elder brother, teacher and a sincere friend to him. He said that the most difficult and complex investigation cases were entrusted to Manzoor Mughal, who successfully handled them with his experience, wisdom and professional competence.

IG Sindh added that there was never any second opinion within the police force regarding Manzoor Mughal’s investigative abilities. In every difficult situation, he would immediately provide guidance and extend sincere support.

He stated that this block has been named in recognition of the late DIG Manzoor Ahmed Mughal’s outstanding services to the police force and the community.
