Muzaffarabad:The Kashmir Institute of Management (KIM), Muzaffarabad, organized a one-day training workshop on February 2, 2026, on the theme “Effective Time Management in Professional and Personal Domains for Officers and Academicians.”
The workshop was designed and conducted by the Kashmir Institute of Management for the first time in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Nearly 60 officers from various line departments of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the training, along with Assistant Professors and Associate Professors from different universities of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
This full-day capacity-building activity comprised three comprehensive sessions, each lasting two hours, and was personally facilitated by the Director General, Kashmir Institute of Management. Prior to the concluding session, five practical exercises were also conducted to reinforce the key concepts discussed during the training.
The workshop highlighted the critical role of effective time management in improving public service delivery, organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness, emphasizing its direct impact on governance and institutional performance.
During the concluding session, the Honorable retired Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Justice Manzoor Hussain Gillani, graced the certificate distribution ceremony as the Chief Guest. He expressed his satisfaction over the active participation of officers and academicians in such a meaningful professional development initiative.
While addressing the participants, Justice Gillani emphasized that the entire universe operates under a perfectly ordained system of time management established by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. He noted that the Holy Qur’an bears testimony to the importance and sanctity of time, and that the universe—including galaxies, day and night, seasons, crops, weather patterns, and rainfall—functions according to divine time management. He added that by adopting efficient time management, individuals can achieve success and earn respect in all walks of life and professional domains.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Chief Guest distributed certificates among the participants and appreciated the Kashmir Institute of Management for successfully organizing the impactful one-day workshop.
