Parachinar: A border strike from Afghanistan led the death of security officer on the Pak-Afghan border at Shurki in Kurram district.
According to police sources, there was an attack with automatic weapons on the Pak-Afghan border in the remote area of Kurram district, as a result of which an officer of the forces, Lanice Naik Shayar Hussain, was martyred. The funeral prayer of the martyr was brought to FC Camp Parachinar, where civil and military officials including Brigadier Shahzad Azeem, Deputy Commissioner Wasil Khan, Commandant Kurram Malitia Taimur Sultan, DHO Abdul Samad Khan participated in the funeral prayer. Later, the martyr was buried in Shlozan with full official honors
