Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Energy and Power, Engineer Amir Muqam visited PESCO headquarter where the Chief Executive Officer of Peshawar Electric Supply Company Arif Mehmood Saduzai and other senior officails paid him an enthusiastic welcome.
During the meeting, Chief Executive Officer PESCO Arif Mahmood Saduzai gave a detailed briefing on Pesco management issues and informed preseented details about recovery, line losses and Kunda culture. Engineer Amir Muqam emphysised on honest duties and integrity. which according to him will not only add progress to the institution but will also help to play vital role in the development of Pakistan, Muqam told.
Arif Mehmood Saduzai told the Special Assistant of Prime Minister that solarization is the only solution for the electricity problems and Power short fall in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. If low tariffed electricity is provided to the people of the province, a significant reduction in theft can be ensured, the CEO added.
Engineer Amir Maqam instructed all the officers to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity during Sehar and Iftar in the holy month of Ramadan and any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in this regard.
Amir Muqam lauded the positive behavior of the Chief Executive Officer, the performance of the PESCO management and technical staff as satisfactory and assured all possible support from his side.
