Coordinated efforts imperative to make Pakistan Narcotics Free Country: Maj Gen. Arif Malik

RAWALPINDI: In connections with World Anti-Narcotics Day, the arrangements of awareness oriented activities were reviewed at Anti-Narcotics Force Headquarter, Rawalpindi on Wednesday. Chairing the meeting Maj Gen. Muhammad Arif Malik HI (M) said that on this occasion coordinated efforts would be evolved to make sure Pakistan Narcotics Free Country by reaffirming our commitments and obligations. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of Anti-Narcotics Force and those who had sacrifices their lives for the cause. He asked citizens to fulfill their moral and national obligations and point out those who had been involved in this heinous crime and spoiling the future of your young generation to make them drug addicts. Director Headquarter Brig Sagher Kamran informed that Pakistan has been declared puppy production free from 2001 and we are committed to make our educational institutions drugs free by effective monitoring and apprehending drug peddlers. Director Riaz Somro said on the occasion that message of drug free society was being promoted with the close coordination and support of media and civil society. He asked that community based organizations should extend their assistance to make Pakistan Drug Free Country.
