Rawalpindi: Renowned producer and director Aasma Ismail Butt expressed solidarity with the Pakistani forces at the Rawalpindi Arts Council along with artists from the twin cities.
Aasma Ismail Butt said that artists across the country are standing by the side of Pakistan Army, whatever the situation of the country, the artist community is not left behind. History is a witness that even during the war, Madam Noor Jahan (Late) went to the war front to express her solidarity with the Pakistan Army and sang national anthems.
Aasma Ismail Butt said that our famous singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sahar Ali Baga, Atif Aslam have also expressed their great love for the country and Pakistan Army by singing national songs.
Today, the artists of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, gathered in the Rawalpindi Arts Council, who together gave this message to hostile elements at in and outside of country and miscreants spreading baseless propaganda against Pakistan Army, whatever the circumstances, we all artists stand with Pakistan Army.
