Awareness Seminar on Increasing Population at Sardar Bahadur Ali Khan Government Postgraduate College

Rawalakot: A significant awareness seminar on the issue of increasing population was held in Khadak, Rawalakot with the cooperation of the Population Welfare Department. Students, both male and female, as well as teachers participated enthusiastically.

The seminar was presided over by the Director General of the Population Welfare Department. The DG and other experts briefed the students on family planning, maintaining a balance between resources and needs, and the importance of responsible decision-making. They emphasized that proper planning is essential for a strong and prosperous family, and raising awareness among the youth is the need of the hour.

At the end of the seminar, students appreciated the efforts of the Population Welfare Department, stating that such awareness programs play a vital role in bringing positive change to society.

In this awareness seminar, Director General, Population Welfare Department AJK Dr. Aftab Hussain Khan, Principal of the Regional Training Institute Muzaffarabad Dr. Humaira Faisal, DHO Rawalakot, and the Principal of Sardar Bahadur Ali Khan Government Postgraduate College Rawalakot delivered lectures to the students, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session.
