CDA, Azerbaijani delegation discuss ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ setup in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of architects and consultants from Baku called on Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, at the CDA Headquarters. The meeting was attended by Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, DG Services and DG Building Control. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, including potential cooperation in the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ project, were discussed.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that, in line with the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, he is committed to further improving the services provided to the citizens of Islamabad. He said that various measures are being taken to better provide facilities and services to the citizens of Islamabad.

Chairman CDA said that an ”Asan Khidmat Markaz’ is being established in Islamabad in collaboration with Azerbaijan’s Estate Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations. He said the primary objective of establishing the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ is to ensure the provision of all facilities to citizens under one roof. The establishment of the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ will enable the citizens of Islamabad to access services and facilities from various departments under one roof.

Chairman CDA said that a suitable location is being identified for the establishment of the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’. He said the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ will help promote the cashless economy policy of the Government of Pakistan. Chairman said that modern technology will be utilized to establish the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ along modern lines.

The delegation from Baku assured their full technical cooperation for the establishment of the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’. The Baku delegation said they would provide their support in integrating public services and facilities with a modern IT system, including the design of the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ project. They said the Azerbaijan (Baku) is ready to provide its full cooperation and technical assistance in the construction and completion of this CDA project.

Chairman CDA said that the completion of the project will further promote mutual relations between the two countries. Chairman CDA said this project will not only be a significant milestone in relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan but will also prove to be a revolutionary step in service delivery. During the meeting, Chairman CDA also reiterated his commitment to fully benefit from the technical expertise, capacity, and experience of the Azerbaijan experts.
